"He then went his way and began to proclaim in all Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marveled."

I was recently blessed by Chaplain Lyndsey to get to preach my testimony at his Sunday night Hope Service on Feb 9th. I gave my testimony from the above passage of scripture speaking of the man called Legion. A man whom Christ went across a sea and through a storm to Save, Deliver, and Commission to testify to others about it.

Now although all of our salvational stories may be a little different, they should all include a, "Testimony 101". Which is the experiencial fact that Christ came to Save Us, Deliver Us, and then Commission Us to share it with others.

I shared with the men about the forgiveness of sins in my life, and the many things God has delivered me from over the years. I encouraged men to call on Him for salvation, and to continue to cry out to Him for deliverance in their lives. For the God that Saves, is also the God that Delivers!

But mostly, I exhorted them to share the testimony of Christ in their lives with others. To remember how Christ sent the man formally known as Legion back to tell his family and friends all the the Lord had done for him.

I reminded them that Jesus is not just the Shepherd that leaves the 99 to go after the one, but that He is also the Shepherd that empowers the one to go after the 99!

Now let's go tell them!
